Colorado Springs - Fine Arts Museum - May '25

return to index

The photos below are from two brief visits to the Fine Arts Museum, where I have stopped every time I've traveled here. I used to regularly bring my Mom here and sometimes we had a fancy lunch on the patio overlooking Monument Creek, like in the 1990s.

Thursday visit - Art & Pottery - pottery is by New Mexican pueblo artists.

note - on a pc or laptop you can zoom in & and out, but not on a smartphone.

Chihuly - Dale Chihuly has glass exhibits around the world, and I've seen this (permanent) exhibit many times before. He also paints abstract, colorful stuff.

On Saturday I came back to photograph the building & interiors. This is a 1930s Art Deco style building, nearly a hundred year old architectural style.
