In September, 2016 a group of 13 of us gathered at Mono Hot Springs Resort, uphill from Fresno, at about 6,500 ft. We were once again on the western side of the Sierras. The last 10 miles getting there was some interesting driving.
The group was Rich & Linda, Mike & Dorothy, John & Kathy, Rick & Julie, plus Jean, Bonnie, Diane, Dick F., and me. Frank wasn't there so we forgot take group photos at the start of the hikes.
The first hike was to the Devil's Bathtub, at 9,187 ft.

note 1 - I'm not sure why I have so few photos of the Bathtub, because it seems to be a beautiful lake. On the other hand almost all photos I found online of the lake show this same scenery.
The Devil's Bathtub walk was 10 miles with about 1,500 ft. of gain, a good day out.
Our third walk was to Doris Lake and then we found a second lake nearby where I got some people photos.
The round trip walk was 2+ miles with about 300 ft. of gain, an easy day out, and the regional scenery was pretty good. I've tried to identify the interesting mountains or peaks shown here, but the 2 or 3 very prominent peaks in the distance remain un-identified for now.
Hike Two - We drove a short distance to Lake Thomas Edison and took a ferry ride to the far end of the lake, where we disembarked and found the trail back. I recall it was an OK walk of 5 or so miles, but it wasn't a great scenery day, and I apparently erased the photos back then.
